England have put themselves in a poor position, but we can beat anyone on our day. I wouldn't say I am hopeful, but certainly can't see it as impossible.
One word: confidence. India are unbeaten and all their players are in the form of their lives. Plus it will be like a home game for them at Edgbaston. England are struggling with both form and injuries. Why? West Indies are a mediocre side. Hardly surprising India thumped them. England have won 6 of the last 9 ODI's against India. A couple of poor results doesn't change the fact that England are a very good one day side.
probably be a good idea if ex England players who never won the world cup just shut the **** up!

In todays cricket, NZ v Australia is of little interest from England's POV, but sadly Pakistan will probably beat Afghanistan. Still in our own hands (just got to win a couple of games) and the Sri Lanka result helped us....so we are still alive (although this may be just a ruse to extend the torture....luckily we are used to this as Saints fans
).
A glass half full man. I like itDon't forget Afghanistan only lost to INDIA by 11 runs …...

Rather notNever going to happen . My First love is F1 . Just look at that :-(

Think it also happened earlier this year, with England against India.Never seen that before! A swarm of bees has halted the SA v SL game at Chester-Le-Street! All the players and both umpires were lying face down on the ground for nearly a minute.
