England have put themselves in a poor position, but we can beat anyone on our day. I wouldn't say I am hopeful, but certainly can't see it as impossible.
One word: confidence. India are unbeaten and all their players are in the form of their lives. Plus it will be like a home game for them at Edgbaston. England are struggling with both form and injuries. Don’t get me wrong, I still have hopes of qualifying, but don’t underestimate India!
Never seen that before! A swarm of bees has halted the SA v SL game at Chester-Le-Street! All the players and both umpires were lying face down on the ground for nearly a minute.
probably be a good idea if ex England players who never won the world cup just shut the **** up! https://www.bbc.com/sport/cricket/48796914
No time for MV as a person . Cricketer yes of course . Captain oh yes . Pundit ? You are having a laugh . When he first appeared on TMS like he was already " One of THEM " . Total lack of respect .
In todays cricket, NZ v Australia is of little interest from England's POV, but sadly Pakistan will probably beat Afghanistan. Still in our own hands (just got to win a couple of games ) and the Sri Lanka result helped us....so we are still alive (although this may be just a ruse to extend the torture....luckily we are used to this as Saints fans ).
Somewhat strange to think that the focus of the WC today won't be on Aus v NZ at Lords. Oh if only NZ hadn't got the fortunate washed-out point v India, things would be oh so different for them and us. I'm expecting a Pakistan win today, but if any side can mess it up, it's Pakistan. Just don't expect Afghanistan to score anything in excess of 230.
