Straight knockout for us now.
Typical of England to lose 'winnable' games and then have to win harder ones. It's always possible to lose to any team in a single game, but a team of England's quality to lose three is disgraceful. All I can say is that we will deserve it whether we go out or make it to the semi-finals as we will have to work hard for it.

And remember rain may yet be a consideration.

You’re right Fran. I did think rain could kill us which would be very ironic. Didn’t want to mention but done now. Fingers x’d it’ll stay in our hands.

Windies in with a real shout of beating India, who finished on 268-7.

In the greater scene of things India losing might benefit England, but then again they might try even harder against us!

India trounce WI by 125 runs, bowled them out in just 34.2 overs.

If we beat India the age of miracles will have dawned.

Why? West Indies are a mediocre side. Hardly surprising India thumped them. England have won 6 of the last 9 ODI's against India. A couple of poor results doesn't change the fact that England are a very good one day side.
