Talksport's cricket debut ended in a very damp squib. So there is, talk sport with Mark Nicholas. Barney Ronay's comment in the Guardian:-
"And so we were off. The opening voice of the TalkSport cricket era was Mark Nicholas, a deeply reassuring presence. Nicholas may resemble the kind of roguishly handsome provincial double-glazing magnate who your wife is always a little too pleased to see at the country club mixed-doubles summer fundraiser but he is a an excellent broadcaster and a proper cricket man, in a sport where that is a good rather than a bad thing."

That’s a scarily accurate summary of Mark Nicholas! What I like about him from the Channel 5 Test highlights is that at the beginning of the show, when the teams are running out on to the pitch behind him, he always gives the impression that he already knows what’s going to happen in the day’s play.So there is, talk sport with Mark Nicholas. It's back on. 21 overs now.Third ODI with Sri Lanka suffering from rain again.England could do with some match time.
Although this was more like a T20.England have walked it, again. They really are a good ODI side now, such an improvement on the last WC.
Although this was more like a T20.
Fair point. England will take some stopping at next years World Cup, especially as it's on home soil.True, but they had to adapt and they did - as is often the case in in rain affected ODI's, its part of the game.
