When we have runs on the board, yes. Same as with Crane. If we could guarantee 500+ every game, both would always play for me.

But when we don't, they become more of a liability. Neither can bat, and both are always going to concede runs. It's why I wouldn't have either in the t20 team, regardless of the fact that Crane can now call himself a t20 international!
 
Outside chance of maximum bonus points now. As well as the more important issue of potentially getting them to FO tonight.
 
Suspect that is the draw secured for Surrey. Even if we were to bowl Surrey out tomorrow morning for below the FO mark, there surely won't be enough time left to take a further 10 wickets and then knock off whatever Surrey would almost certainly be setting us. Needed to bowl them out for under 400 really - and to be fair to the boys, they did their best, the two drops aside.
 
Another day, another dropped slip catch (Stoneman) and another piece of static keeping from McManus as the ball goes between him and slip (Footitt).

Our fielding this season has been so, so poor.
