Well done Vincey, top stuff! (Even if you failed to contain yourself in the previous over, and ultimately got lucky)

To be honest, it's just a surprise it's taken this long for them to find Vince's edge. Good defensive bowling from Curran and Footitt, just hanging it out there knowing that Vince can't resist. Played and missed a lot recently.

Although seemingly employing the same strategy to George Bailey, I cannot commend them for. Surely you attack a new batter? Not bowl wide, with one slip and the boundary somewhat protected?

Jimmy trying to get his name onto the teamsheet for this Friday's opening t20.

In a weird sort of way, our attack in this game is one which looks better the more runs we put on the board. So this really is, so far so good.

Fidel and Crane are expensive, that's their nature. But they also have X-factor. When they're on it, they can do things that others can't. And that's before even mentioning two of the best seamers in the division.

Footitt has been woeful all day, never seen so many deliveries down legside.

Surrey's entire attack, other than the Curran's, has been awful.

Got to feel for Stuart Meaker. How on earth can he not get into this side? I'd sign him for us without hesitation.

Although Footitt was unlucky there! Third or fourth time we've edged for four today.

Obviously I hope these two see us through to the close, but in the event that we do lose one of them and we insist on keeping Ervine tucked up for the night, can we at least bring Holland/Berg/Abbott out rather than Crane? Could cost us a 5th point in the morning otherwise.
