Thanks Yorkshire for not bothering with a toss. We fooled them in a big way by getting skittled for 141 at Headingley. :)

Pretty much unless it has been raining, any team choosing to bowl first at the RB has lost their mind.

Important that we make them pay tomorrow by passing 400.
 
Very good day for Hants, especially having been put in. Hopefully they push on tomorrow.

I'm playing myself tomorrow. Forecast looks a bit chilly though!
 
Annoying start to the day - especially given that both Vince and McManus seemingly don't believe they edged it. Getting to 350 within 110 overs should have been very simple 10 minutes ago. But now, given the important need to put 400+ on the board, we might decide to shut up shop for a few overs and consolidate - which in turn could leave us short for 350 in time.

Even more so now that Willey has got Dawson! Might not even reach 350 at all, let alone in 110 overs.
 
Although that wicket might put pay to consolidating. Not sure that these two are particularly that way inclined.
 
Well this is so much better than this morning. Come on Bergy, you can get there... (and come on Wheal, to help him there)

Yorkshire still have a heck of batting depth to come, but this is fantastic.
 
Christ what the hell has happened??? I go out when Hants are all out for 455 and I come back and Yorkshire are 97/6!
 
Window opened ajar - largely because of Hanscomb losing his head with the new ball on the horizon.
 
I was expecting us to rest one of Abbott and Berg tomorrow (and maybe the other on Sunday), but not both of them; not with Wheal injured (and Fidel, although I can't see Fidel playing much white-ball cricket).

Wood obviously comes into the side, and no doubt Crane does too. So from the 13 man squad named, that leaves Hart and Holland to battle out for one place. Smith did OK in the middle order last season, so he might come in for Jimmy as another change.
