Being a seamer down is never good in any situation. But it's really not good when you haven't got a front line spinner to turn to. Only so many times you can keep on turning to your remaining seamers.

Jacks might find himself bowling a fair amount of his part-time spin if we can hang in long enough. Or Patel with his dobbers. And it makes it very hard for them to enforce the FO, should they get the chance to.
