Abbas and Barker showing that Hampshire's score isn't terrible. It isn't good, but it might be adequate. Maybe.
Not for me. Not in the same league as how badly we gave our wickets away vs Warks. Organ and Crane absolutely gave their wickets away. And if you want to be ultra critical, I'll give you Vince too. But the rest was just good bowling for me (or horrendous bad luck). Anyway, it's now as much about Warks as it is about us. They're getting dangerously close to being firm favourites.
120 needed from 26 overs. When the title is on the line, and you're only 3 down, you back yourself to chase that.
Lancashire now 9 for 2. Not bad, and this could be a very low scoring game, probably all over by this time tomorrow, weather permitting
We can't worry about what Warwickshire are doing at the moment. They're probably favourites at the moment but things can change very quickly.
Come on Somerset, they need to start taking some wickets to slow Warwickshire down. If Warwickshire get to 350 within the first 110 overs (assuming they also get the 3 bowling points) and win then they'll finish above us, even if we win.
At least, unlike Lancs, we don't have to be concerned about Notts. We will surely pick up four more wickets in the next 101 overs, and if we do that then Notts can't catch us if we win. Essentially the batting points they're getting are in relation to chasing down Lancs, if Lancs win.
I'm interested to see Balderson bat here. I can't recall seeing him with my own eyes before, and he already impressed me today with his bowling. So if he can also show himself to be a decent opener, then that is a hell of a player on their hands.
