Somerset need to pray that Edgbaston prepare a flat track now for entertainment purposes. If Birmingham had qualified, they probably would have prepared a slower track. Now they're out for all intents and purposes I suspect they might want a run fest. Which will suit Somerset more than the other 3 teams. The other 3 teams would rather have some assistance for the spinners!

 

Hopefully you’re right. Would be good to have Overton back too, for his batting as well as his bowling.

Looks like Ahmad and Bopara are the only two players at finals day who are due to leave for the CPL now. Given that it finishes only three days before finals day, and I think St Kitts is currently an amber list country, I wonder if they will still go - and if they do, will then be available for finals day?
