Always thought he came across slightly negativelyDoes anyone else despise Nasser Hussain commentary? He's always talking about how England can lose rather than win.

One of the great things about this world cup has been the different nations commentators. A lot of them other than say Michael Holding and Nasser have been so positive for their teams. Even Michael Clarke and Slater weren't getting negative during the Aussie's innings. Nasser is very very poor.Always thought he came across slightly negatively
Roy isn’t hanging about, but he’s not going crazy. Just about right so far.

Yeah I get that part but he talks about how to get England out a lot. There's a diffence between negativity and pessimism.I think it is a British thing...don't be over confident in case it looks too cocky and attracts the attention of the cricket gods (who can be as nasty as the football variety).
Agreed. In all honesty, I don’t think Jason Roy knows any other way! That was purely a case of Australia just gambling for a wicket. Didn't care about the risk of Smith going for big runs, because runs are irrelevant now. They need(ed) 10 wickets.
Great batting guys. Great batting. So well done for playing their normal game, rather than reverting to typical English old style type.
