Dawson's 4 from 9 balls killed all the momentum in the innings.

 

Alsop has lost us the game. Dawson didn't help but as the set batsman, Alsop had to push on. He didn't.

 

Drop Alsop to the second XI for the rest of the season. You want a run of games Tom? Then go play for the second XI because you ****ed this up woefully.

 

I agree about Alsop, but Dawson coming in in the 15th over as a "finisher" should be scoring at least a run a ball and if he had've done we would've won.

I'm still stunned. With 5ov to go we were still strong favourites but continually slipped up further in each over until it really was like sand through fingers. As mentioned, very disappointed with Daws & Alsop but also Rossouw - not doing enough for an opener, imo.

Edit: Nearly lost my rag with 2x knobs behind me. Chatted about everything & nothing for virtually all of Hants innings. Don't think they ever looked up to watch the match - never broke their chatter once. Fuming
