Needed that. We're just hanging in here, but only just. One big over for Fire kills the game.
 
Right, now try and keep TKC at the other end for as many remaining balls as possible.
 
In an ideal world, we'd find a front-line keeper who can also open the batting (whether domestic or overseas) and sign them as Allen's injury replacement. That could kill two birds with one stone. But I've been looking through the list of options, and there's really nothing exciting.

Du Plooy is not an opener. And Evans is not a keeper.

We could go Albert of course. But he's only a part-time keeper too.
 
I do think we need to rethink our PP strategy. In most games, we've really struggled in them. Maybe open with Roy instead of Du Plooy.

I might open with Albert, drop Roy, and move LDP to no.3 (or no.4).

Spirit have a much deeper bowling attack than Fire, so we can't just see off Spirit's opening bowlers on Saturday.
