As far as I can tell, Hampshire are trying to follow Somerset's mode of play, by being all out for 136 (ish), thus turning this into a one-innings bash, just to give the fans some entertainment. Alternatively, Hampshire will go for the win, in order to finish second. I'd prefer the second option.
Imagine if we were in touching distance of Surrey. They would be just sitting there, powerless to do anything right now. Definitely regret not beating Warks and Kent.
Luckiest 77 ever from Albert! So many chances to get him out missed. However, hit a lot of lovely 6s later in the innings.
Hants lead restricted to 60, which might be daunting on a turning pitch. Some poor fielding by Somerset helped.
That was up there with the Balderson not out last week which basically turned the game in Lancashire’s favour. Everybody hates us
I'd be worried about chasing 150+, and I don't think I'd even be comfortable about 110+. I'm hoping we can keep the chase down to double figures, and in order to do that we probably need them four down (or better) by the time they've knocked off the deficit.
