Somerset resting Overton, Gregory, Henry, Davey and TKC for our four day match this week, ahead of Saturday. We've gone full strength - albeit there are only three or four players who will be playing for us in both matches anyway.
This will be Bess' third four-day game in a row playing for a different county. On 11 June he lined up for Yorkshire. In the next round of matches, on 27 June, it was Warwickshire. And now it's Somerset. I wonder if anyone else has done that before?
And without the likes of Gregory, Overton and RVDM, hopefully this will be a rare occasion where Somerset's lower order aren't able to bail them out of trouble. That said, Rew is having a great season.
