That said, the forecast for the rest of the game does not look good. We might not even be able to squeeze ten overs in, to constitute a match. (Whether getting those ten overs in would be a good or bad thing for us though...)

I never said we needed Dawson for his bowling (although the option would still be nice, but yes that's not my point). With Ervine injured and Adams stepping away from t20, we're a batsman down at present - as Shah can only fill one of those two places. For some reason we've been filling it with Gatting, not Dawson.

I can only hope that Ervine is fit for Friday next week. Sounds like it's very 50:50 at present.

Ah, didn't know about Adams.
 
Christ that wicket is massive. Warks within touching distance of DL, and the groundsmen hovering on the side. Now we have leeway on DL again.
 
Revised target of 259 off 42. That's a result! 8 overs lost, but only 22 runs knocked off their target.
 
The thing with DL is it suits the team batting second if it rains during the first innings but not if it only rains during the second innings and the team batting first put up a decent total.
 
Tough to call now. I think I'd make Warks favourites, but it will only take a couple of quick wickets to massively turn it in our favour.
