Kent have set Chris Gayle 228 to win.

Could have been 240 had they not lost four wickets in the final over.

Gayle is certainly going for it, 90 off of 40 balls! with NINE sixes so far....

17 counties are hoping that Somerset lose enough of their non-Gayle matches to mean they fail to progress out of the South group. Or failing that, hoping that Gayle isn't available for Finals Day.

Somerset need 83 to win off 6 overs for a famous victory.

They chased over 200 against us at Taunton a few years back, and that was without Gayle.

Can our trip there on Friday please be rained off?

Allenby bowled.

Gayle has spent the large part of these last three overs at the non-strikers end. And ultimately, it should cost them the game.

17 to win off the last over, but Gayle not on strike. Brilliant over from Chris. (But then it was only Coles bowling!)

6 off the last ball to bring up his 150, but they fall 3 short.

That's two defeat from three games now for Somerset, with Gayle having three more matches to play for them until he leaves to play in the Caribbean PL.

Home to us on Friday, followed by back-to-back games the following Friday and Saturday at home to Surrey and away to Glamorgan.
