Whiteley or bust, I would suggest. I don't see anything else in this Worcs line up.

If we get back on, then I'd be finishing Arafat's over and then getting Fidel straight back on for his 4th. Whilst D/L is in our favour, then play for it. Worcs' fault for having a ground with inadequate floodlights. (And for choosing to bowl first, when they'd have surely known it would risk batting in poor light).

Good win but not a good way to do it, didn't anyone tell Worcester and the cricket authorities that it gets darker earlier two minutes a night after June 21st?

Clear forecast for tomorrow.

Despite breaking his nose on Friday, Wood is in the squad (makes sense, it's not like a broken nose should impact his bowling). I'm guessing from our XI in our last one-day game, Ervine will come in for Briggs whilst Fidel might return for Berg (Ervine strengthening the batting means that Berg would no longer be needed to bat at no.7). So: Carberry, Adams, Wheater, Vince, Ervine, Dawson, Smith, Wood, Arafat, Crane, Fidel.

That's a solid looking one day team, to me. Only thing it lacks in a big hitting, clean striker at the back end of the innings. (I guess we could bring Ervine in after Dawson and Smith, to try and fill that role).

If we win, we will qualify for the QFs. At the same time, we will also move above Essex into second place, with each side then having one game each. And second place means a home QF.
