Not completely sure about this reined in approach. Okay for an over or so but we bat deep and have wickets in hand so can afford to attack a little more. One more big over would pretty much seal the match. It should be okay anyway, but still.

Ah, Buttler's now going for it a little more. :)

Bang, bang, Buttler effectively ends the game.

I've sussed it. It was the Buttler, with the cricket bat, in the stadium. :)

In all seriousness, very well played England.

Would prefer the West Indies in the final.

We've had a lot of support from the locals....might change if we play India <laugh> I would rather play the WI, but be nice for the hosts to make the final. Have to congratulate India on decent pitches...they haven't been an issue which is all you can hope for in a tournament.

So you think a pitch as dead as a dodo for the final.

I see....I guess I was thinking of a test match where they prefer a bat fest.

No, they do the same dirty tricks. Take a look at these scorecards from the tests v South Africa last year:

    http://www.espncricinfo.com/india-v-south-africa-2015-16/engine/match/903607.html
    http://www.espncricinfo.com/india-v-south-africa-2015-16/engine/match/903603.html

They had spinners opening the bowling for goodness sake! It's bordering on cheating in my book.

I'd rather play India for the spectacle, but rather play West Indies as other than the odd Gayle-force inspired madness I don't rate them that highly, and we're more likely to win against them (despite the group loss).

West Indies would provide a better spectacle. If India get through it would be a 120 plays 110 or something like that.
