Hey Woopert - steam trains bring a tear to the eye and its not the grit - glad the weather is holding up - wedding hasn't happened yet off to Sorrento on Tuesday with the wedding the following Saturday then its back here on the 5th and fly home on the 8th - went down to Cholderton yesterday and had lunch with a mate in the Crown Inn all very sociable I drove so no drinkies for me and my brother in law had a pint of Fullers London Pride he used to run the bar at Leatherhead Cricket Club and he asked the Lady behind the bar if she had done the pipes that day and of course the answer was no he had assumed that by the taste then proceeded to give her a tutorial on the need to clean the pipes daily - rather amusing - enjoy the game on Saturday hope you win - cheers ATB :emoticon-0103-cool:

NGC 3195

NGC 3195 is a planetary nebula located in the constellation Chamaeleon. It is the most southern of all the bright sizable planetary nebula in the sky, and remains invisible to all northern observers. Discovered by Sir John Herschel in 1835, this 11.6 apparent magnitude planetary nebula is slightly oval in shape, with dimensions of 40×35 arc seconds, and can be seen visually in telescopic apertures of 10.5 centimetres (4.1 in) at low magnifications.

Spectroscopy reveals that NGC 3195 is approaching Earth at 17 kilometres per second (11 mi/s), while the nebulosity is expanding at around 40 kilometres per second (25 mi/s). The central star is listed as >15.3V or 16.1B magnitude. Distance is estimated at about 1.7 kpc.

Hi anti - My wife is used to me by now, just celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary down here in Devon (she was a child bride :)). Our first date was to Fratton Park for a league game against Cardiff, our second date to the cinema to see Tora Tora Tora (about the Japs bombing Pearl Harbour) and third date was back at Fratton Park for an FA Cup tie against Arsenal ! I know how to treat a woman !! Luckily her Dad was a Pompey fan himself, so he approved of me going out with her. She is happy(ish) to sit in the car with something to eat and drink, and a book to read whilst I am at the match. Are you now banned from the Crown Inn ?! Enjoy the "Italian Job", I just adore all of Italy, such a fantastic country.

3204 Lindgren, provisional designation 1978 RH, is a carbonaceous background asteroid from the outer regions of the asteroid belt, approximately 20 kilometers (12 miles) in diameter. It was discovered on 1 September 1978, by Soviet astronomer Nikolai Chernykh at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory in Nauchnij, on the Crimean peninsula. The B-type asteroid has a rotation period of 5.6 hours. It was named after Swedish writer Astrid Lindgren.

Lindgren has been characterized as a "bright" carbonaceous B-type asteroid in both the Tholen-like and SMASS-like taxonomy of the Small Solar System Objects Spectroscopic Survey (S3OS2). It is also an assumed C-type asteroid.
