SECTION 2684-2685


2684. (a) If, in the opinion of the Director of Corrections, the
rehabilitation of any mentally ill, mentally deficient, or insane
person confined in a state prison may be expedited by treatment at
any one of the state hospitals under the jurisdiction of the State
Department of Mental Health or the State Department of Developmental
Services, the Director of Corrections, with the approval of the Board
of Prison Terms for persons sentenced pursuant to subdivision (b) of
Section 1168, shall certify that fact to the director of the
appropriate department who shall evaluate the prisoner to determine
if he or she would benefit from care and treatment in a state
hospital.

Hermits, monks, and nuns since the time of the desert fathers have devoted their time to praising God and interceding for his people.
The consecrated life cannot be sustained or spread without prayer; it is one of the living sources of contemplation and the spiritual life of the Church.

0-2694 is a drug that is a cannabinoid derivative. It has analgesic effects and is used in scientific research. Unlike most cannabinoids discovered to date, it is highly water-soluble, which gives it considerable advantages over many related drugs. It has high affinity for both CB1 and CB2receptors, with Ki values of 3.7 nM at CB1 and 2.8 nM at CB2. However, it has complex pharmacokinetics as most of the administered dose is metabolised by hydrolysis of the ester link to the water-insoluble compound O-2372, thus producing a biphasic effects profile that is less suitable for research purposes than the related compound O-2545.
