Nokia 3510

The Nokia 3510 is a
mobile phone for the GSM network, introduced by Nokia on 12 March 2002. The phone was the first Nokia phone to bring GPRS internet services to the mass market.

An enhanced version, Nokia 3510i, introduced some time later on 6 September 2002 and released in December 2002
was one of the first phones with a color display. The phone has a Nokia Series 40 96 x 65 user interface. The 3510 has the multi-button user interface of the classic Nokia 2110. Along with Nokia 7210, it was the first Nokia device on the mass market with polyphonic ringtones (they were already on the Nokia 7650).

GPRS is used for data transmission and mobile Internet WAP service. The Nokia 3510i model supports Java 2 ME that makes it possible for users to download and use Java applications (not supported by 3510), background images and polyphonic ringtones. The phone supports SMS and MMS messaging.
The 3510i is of the DCT4 hardware generation.

There was also a gaming-enhanced Xpress-on cover released as an official accessory for the 3510.

German submarine U-3514

German submarine U-3514 was a Type XXIU-boat (one of the "Elektroboote") of Nazi Germany's Kriegsmarine, built for service in World War II. She was ordered on 6 November 1943, and was laid down on 21 August 1944 at F Schichau GmbH, Danzig, as yard number 1659. She was launched on 21 October 1944, and commissioned under the command of Oberleutnant zur See Günther Fritze, on 9 December 1944.

Design
Like all Type XXI U-boats, U-3514 had a displacement of 1,621 tonnes (1,595 long tons) when at the surface and 1,819 tonnes (1,790 long tons) while submerged. She had a total length of 76.70 m (251 ft 8 in) (o/a), a beam length of 8 m (26 ft 3 in), and a draught length of 6.32 m (20 ft 9 in). The submarine was powered by two MAN SE supercharged six-cylinder M6V40/46KBB diesel engines each providing 4,000 metric horsepower (2,900 kilowatts; 3,900 shaft horsepower), two Siemens-SchuckertGU365/30 double-acting electric motors each providing 5,000 PS (3,700 kW; 4,900 shp), and two Siemens-Schuckert silent running GV232/28 electric motors each providing 226 PS (166 kW; 223 shp).

The submarine had a maximum surface speed of 15.6 knots (28.9 km/h; 18.0 mph) and a submerged speed of 17.2 knots (31.9 km/h; 19.8 mph). When running on silent motors the boat could operate at a speed of 6.1 knots (11.3 km/h; 7.0 mph). When submerged, the boat could operate at 5 knots (9.3 km/h; 5.8 mph) for 340 nautical miles (630 km; 390 mi); when surfaced, she could travel 15,500 nautical miles (28,700 km; 17,800 mi) at 10 knots (19 km/h; 12 mph). U-3514 was fitted with six 53.3 cm (21.0 in) torpedo tubes in the bow and four 2 cm (0.79 in) C/30 anti-aircraft guns. She could carry twenty-three torpedoes or seventeen torpedoes and twelve mines. The complement was five officers and fifty-two men.

3523 -The Morning after Halloween

Description

You are working for an amusement park as an operator of an obakeyashiki, or a haunted house, in which guests walk through narrow and dark corridors. The house is proud of their lively ghosts, which are actually robots remotely controlled by the operator, hiding here and there in the corridors. One morning, you found that the ghosts are not in the positions where they are supposed to be. Ah, yesterday was Halloween. Believe or not, paranormal spirits have moved them around the corridors in the night. You have to move them into their right positions before guests come. Your manager is eager to know how long it takes to restore the ghosts.

In this problem, you are asked to write a program that, given a floor map of a house, finds the smallest number of steps to move all ghosts to the positions where they are supposed to be.

A floor consists of a matrix of square cells. A cell is either a wall cell where ghosts cannot move into or a corridor cell where they can.

At each step, you can move any number of ghosts simultaneously. Every ghost can either stay in the current cell, or move to one of the corridor cells in its 4-neighborhood (i.e. immediately left, right, up or down), if the ghosts satisfy the following conditions:

  1. No more than one ghost occupies one position at the end of the step.

  2. No pair of ghosts exchange their positions one another in the step.

The SG3525A pulse width modulator control circuit offers
improved performance and lower external parts count when
implemented for controlling all types of switching power supplies.
The on−chip +5.1 V reference is trimmed to 1% and the error
amplifier has an input common−mode voltage range that includes the
reference voltage, thus eliminating the need for external divider
resistors. A sync input to the oscillator enables multiple units to be
slaved or a single unit to be synchronized to an external system clock.
A wide range of deadtime can be programmed by a single resistor
connected between the CT and Discharge pins. This device also
features built−in soft−start circuitry, requiring only an external timing
capacitor. A shutdown pin controls both the soft−start circuitry and the
output stages, providing instantaneous turn off through the PWM latch
with pulsed shutdown, as well as soft−start recycle with longer
shutdown commands. The under voltage lockout inhibits the outputs
and the changing of the soft−start capacitor when VCC is below
nominal. The output stages are totem−pole design capable of sinking
and sourcing in excess of 200 mA. The output stage of the SG3525A
features NOR logic resulting in a low output for an off−state.

3526

Locomotive 3526 is a two-cylinder, simple, non-condensing, coal-fired superheated, 4-6-0 New South Wales C35 class locomotive express passenger steam locomotive. The only C35 class left in existence, and is operational. The class is commonly referred to as Nannies or Naughty Nannies due to their pre-1924 class designation of NN.

Construction
3526 was completed by the New South Wales Government Railways' Eveleigh Railway Workshops in March 1917.

In service
On entering service as one of the 35 members of the NN Class, it was allocated road number 1314, being renumbered in 1924. In the early 1930s, it was one of three C35s painted Oxford blue to operate the Caves Express. Throughout its service life, it received the various modifications made to the class, and was rebuilt with new frames and cab in July 1940 when the class suffered from frame cracking. After its rebuild, 3526 received a lined green paint scheme. In 1964, 3526 received a Commonwealth Engineering built tender from a scrapped standard goods locomotive to increase its coal and water capacity.

Demise and Preservation
3526 was withdrawn from service in 1967 and retained for preservation, being placed in the custody of the New South Wales Rail Transport Museum where it remained operational until 1974. It received an original type C35 class tender, Tab No. 1309, which came from locomotive 3519. It was repainted Oxford blue to represent 'it during its period hauling the Caves Express, initially with heavy white lining, and from 1971 with gold lining. With the NSWRTM relocating, on 25 June 1975, it hauled 7100 and 2606 from Enfield to Thirlmere and was then withdrawn.
