Hi Anti - milder today, but wet. Have just had a scan, and been told I have a matching pair of stones - one in each kidney
. They are only small at the moment, but they do tend to get bigger !! Also got a painful back at the moment, so visit to the Physio as soon as I can.

G'day Woopert - I wondered where the inspiration for Romancing the Kidney Stone came from - now I know - hopefully they are small enough to pass naturally if not its the old blasterooney and they come out in bits - could the back pain be related to the stones?? We had not a drop of rain the whole of February and now its autumn its still 30 odd most days I am so over it I'm English ffs gimme a break!! Coming to terms with Dads passing although hard not to imagine him still just up the road. Got up early this a.m. and sat through a load of utter crap dished up by the Saints at Bournemouth should have stayed in bed at least you managed a point should have been 3 but the last minute leaking bug struck again - hope apart from the stones and back all ok and Spring is in the air for you Hurrah!!! Good evening Anti - The physio says my back pain is a muscular problem only, which is a relief. Flipping painful treatment, but no pain, no gain as they say. Daughter, son-in-law and little grandson came down from Essex to Gunwharf in Portsmouth for the day, so we had a most enjoyable time, and a nice meal. Couldn't believe it, when we got home to find Pompey had won away at last with no late goal conceded ! How long will that last.... Can't wait for Spring to finally arrive, and some better weather. Greetings Woopert, Back home from a weekend in western Sydney - 36 degrees and humid bah over it bring on winter. Thought I'd put summat on a Match Day thread to encourage a discussion its quite bizarre that there is a match day thread on a game in Spain and stuff all about the Newport game - maybe I should butt out but I know you get frustrated with no one else doing a thread - hope those little stones are on the move and the back is less painful - I had a cortisone injection in my elbow for RSI then he insisted on flushing my lugholes out - liberty... soon be time to be striding purposefully with spring in the air ATB..........

. Been a nice weekend, a bit warmer, with some pleasant sunshine for a change. My back is much improved, following strenuous exercises twice a day ! Seeing my consultant next Friday morning about my kidney stones, so should know more then. You are correct about my frustrations regarding the matchday threads - if it's an away game, then I will happily do it, but if a home game, then it would be great if someone else could start one. Devo does one when he can, even you have kindly started one, but this appears to be a "dying site" unfortunately. Hey ho, we carry on for the time being at least. Have a good day.

After 39 days of no rain we have just had two days of good rain and the garden had a welcome drink which I also will have tonight. Life without Dad goes on takes time to realise I cant pick up the blower and have a chat. Hopefully Liverpool and Man U kicked the crap out of each other and that would make our task easier on sunday which is a 1230 am kick off here which I hope to make infusion of amber permitting. Your guys just need to be a bit more consistent and non leaky now and you will be assured of a play off place surely it wont be League 2 again next year. Just been to the pool and did my laps now a little gardening whilst you sleep then its drinkies ATB

Greetings Woopert and a Happy Easter - retirement looms and I see a future for you on the mainland walking up and down the streets of Portsmouth with your sandwich board drumming up posters for this ever diminishing poster site. Autumn has come to the Antipodes but the temps are still in the mid 20's with a lot less humidity which is much welcomed. In a perverse way I hope in way we lose to Leicester so as not to interrupt their march to hopefully the premiership. Very sad to see Johan Cruyff died at the young age of 68 what a gifted man he was. Well its Good Friday morning and its started to spit with rain as of course it does on a Bank Holiday weekend. The High Command has dictated no meat today so its a prawn salad with a couple of bevvies at the club prior - no darts today either ah well delights of having all the family together except of course my Dad who we will raise a glass to - hope the back continues to improve ATB

G'day Woopert - summer lingers on Sydney's hottest April day since records began with a 36 and its friggin' autumn they would have you believe - good wins for both our teams over the weekend - overnighted in Sydney on Saturday as it was the daughters 32nd birthday with the appropriate wallet burglary to boot - besides coming to England for the first three weeks in August I was ambushed over a long lunch with the family involving beer and red wine and it ended up with all four of us coming over on December 20 to January 20 so its an English Chrissy the first for 20 years - apparently I promised to pay for the kids as well I can readily think of a Catherine Tate quote to go with that seeing that they both earn over 100K a year even telling them they were spending their inheritance did no good. Hope the back is on the improve and your pavement pounding has resumed ATB.
