Evening anti - really hot yesterday, and heavy rain today. Great British weather eh ? Draws for both our teams <doh>. I missed our game, due to having to attend a family party which I couldn't get out of. At least we fought back from 0-3 down to 3-3, which showed some character. Lost the fifth test, but won the Ashes back - that's the main thing. Cheers !

Hey Woopert - well that's us dumped out of the Europa League simply not good enough - now back to Saturday games although a 1330 kickoff makes it better for me as its 2230. No punching above our weight this year we might have to settle for mid to lower table obscurity only time will tell - the sun has returned which improved 'er indoors demeanour no end - parsnips ready for pulling cauli's hearts forming but the leeks are on a bloody go slow. Darts tonight and the possibility of a plump bird keeping me warm on a cold winters night..Lets hope for encouraging results for both our teams this weekend - avagoodun' ATB

Hey Woopert - spring has sprung and apparently time to proceed full steam with the kitchen renovation when will it ever end. No plump bird Friday but a rather spicy vindaloo I found in the freezer - I doused it in mango chutney but it still blew me apart the next day. Good to hear its busy at work time goes quicker didn't you say that retirement was on the horizon next year although 35 is young to retire. Went to Sydney last weekend to watch John Oliver live have you heard of him he was on the Tonight Show with Jon Stewart ? Seeing its the International break this weekend it will be interesting to see what Lappers comes up with - Indian summer for you guys hopefully ATB

Not heard of John Oliver before, but just looked him up on You Tube. Looks a funny guy ! I' ve heard that its the Outer Cambodian first division, and the Welsh Schoolgirls Methodist League Three matches being covered this coming weekend by Lapras (although he appeared to have disappeared up until now, much to SB3's dismay !). Weather is rather overcast here today. If you live local to Southampton you can check that by looking out of the window. If not, just Google Southampton weather.
In other news, fresh paint continues to dry after application. If you are hankering after watching some, you can probably google that too.

Now, now, Channon we have spoken about this before - don't concern yourself with our "silly little thread", or me, Dev, or someone else (SB3 perhaps ?) will come onto the Saints site in the middle of the night and start a similar thread for you to enjoy. Oh by the way.........................

Hey Woopert - I feel I have let Channon down by not finding a printer/camera/washing machine as part of 2241 but hey its nice of him to participate - what is the attraction of Dartmouth ? never been there myself. Spring is in the air and its a 27 and 28 degree weekend coming up - they want me to stand for president of the club but having resistance from the high command she feels widowed by the club as it is and being president there may be many more plump birds falling from the rafters. Hope the weather stays decent for your Devon sojourn and good luck to our respective clubs this coming weekend knowing our luck Sir Ricky will score a hat trick ATB

Hi Anti - I reckon that Channon loves the thread really, and he is just a bit shy :emoticon-0184-tmi:. The plump birds must sound tempting, and surely as President you could pull a few strings to claim at least one a week. Dartmouth is a great place to relax, at the entrance to the River Dart. Steam railway the other side of the river. Great choice of restaurants as well. Can't wait to get down there, as it's been a crap week at work. I'm even going to miss Saturday's home match against Barnet (talk about bad planning!), but hoping the place we are renting has Wi-Fi access. Have a good day <ok>
