Went to Brigg today,, Santa couldn’t even be arsed to put on a fake beard and was about 10 stone wet through …looked more like Jasper Carrott… kids still fell for it though, bit worried about them to be fair ..
Well just got a full refund , on the downside an old man has probably just lost some income next Xmas, … but still, good news about the refund - let’s focus on that <laugh>

Mrs Two does Christmas trees for six or seven people, so when it comes to do ours last she's always knackered, it takes her two or three days to do ours. This year ours is going up for November 1st, and bollocks to what anyone thinks of that.

My g'daughter would have hers up now, she has a tree in every room + a 'lit up' magnolia tree in the back garden!

Don't give Mrs Two ideas, two trees in the living room, garland, wreath, wreath on front door, tree at top of the stairs, and one in the granddaughters bedroom for when she stays over. Christmas themed chocolate station in the kitchen, and lights all around the front and back garden.

Its that time of year again - all these goodies are gonna be turned into the best Xmas cake ever, it'll be given a tot of brandy every week until Xmas Eve when someone will have a slice covered in butter and a slab of crumbly Wensleydale cheese.

I'm sure it'll be very nice but you won't escape christmas, they'll put it on for the tourists.

what age did the Santa Bomsbshell happen for your kids?
mine is 7 nearly 8 and shes quite intelligent, she believes for now but dont think it will be long.
my wife wants to do that stupid elf thing this year ( also have a son whos 5 )
i worry this will be the thing that starts to break the illusion, i dont think she will fall for this elf twat coming to life every night and i worry this facade will be the start of the whole thing beginning to unravel.

my kids were 11/12 when the Santa magic stopped, enjoy it while you can. Christmas just isn’t the same now :emoticon-0106-cryin

My daughter was 7 months old when the Santa illusion was shattered. Around came her first Christmas morning and I hurried downstairs with her and BOOM.

No presents.
