So, its 24th Dec, won't be long...…………………….. soon be Easter.

Thought I'd better get my Christmas greeting in before ya all get too pished!! Merry Christmas one and all, young, not so young, across the miles and not forgetting absent friends and family, cheers, best wishes to all. Seasons greetings, big hugs to all, but particularly those feeling vulnerable, missing loved ones and people on their own.

For me, the old adage is so apt; Christmas is not about what’s under the tree, but who’s around it. I am absolutely buzzing, again! We’ve all just tested Covid negative, so game on after the disaster that was last Xmas, we’re off to go and spend Xmas with my beloved sister. We dared to dream just over a year ago, not knowing if she would be here to celebrate another year, but just this last week got the most fab, positive, health test results, long may it continue. Let the celebrations begin <bubbly><bubbly>
Fantastic news
Enjoy the celebrations :emoticon-0152-heart

Today I was stood in a queue, in front was two women talking about Christmas. One said to the other “ well that’s me done with work for a fortnight, I’m gonna go home, leave my shoes at the front door, put on my slippers, lay on the couch, not ****ing move, eat **** and watch **** until I go back to work “ everyone for about a 100 feet could hear her, I had to bite my lip to stop me falling about the place laughing. Mrs
Red said don’t you dare say anything lol…. I just love the ladies in bransholme cener…..

Laid in bed waiting for the kids to be up and about with something like the same enthusiasm they had when they were actual kids, rather than adults who I was at the pub with all evening and who will therefore likely still be asleep until I blast out the Christmas music a bit later.

So a perfect time to wish all the good folk of Not606 a very merry Christmas today. Then as for 2025, hopefully it'll be a year of success on the pitch, but the stupid game that unites us all is nowt compared to the personal dramas that play out in all of our lives so I wish you and yours a happy and healthy year.

Up at 4 now in Bransholme Med Centre with mother in law , got bad stomach pains , her not me - Happy Christmas !!
Can’t wait to see the grandkids in a few hours .
If the council has no money EYRC . Why are refuse collectors driving around at 5-30 collecting excess or waste bins just now ? Triple time plus days in lieu maybe ?
