Oh well, that's the Edinburgh Jolly Boys Outing done and dusted. Bloody good it was, too. Lots of (gluh) wine - brandy, rum and cherry brandy varieties - Guiness, bratwurst, Ghurka curry and sherry. Aye, sherry back at the hotel, Bud chaser, it's what it is, madness, but we like it.

Girding my loins now for ten days of fun.

Merry Pork crackling you pair of Skidmarks..

Allams OUT

*See also 'trick or treat'. Even I've given up asking kids on Halloween if they're American or not (I used to ask though, then when they said they weren't send them away and tell them if they wanted anything they should come back next week and ask for a penny for their guy!)
Did any come back?

I'm still at bastard work, well not actually right now but you catch my driftage.

Break off tomoz.

Then it's game on.

Game well and truly on.

Watch and shoot, watch and shoot.

At work tomorrow til about 2pm.

Working from home though, so it's not all bad.

Back on the 3rd which sucks a bit, as it'll be months of 2 days down in Farnborough, day in London, 2 days in Cambridge, which is going to get annoying really quickly. Bastard M25.

Only silver lining is, the hotel I have to stay in is top drawer. It's like being back in the forces.

Llangattock.

Four man battle trench. Two occupants got the onset of frostbite. Not me obvz.

Coldest recorded place on the planet at the time( probably).

Didn't even have bivvy bags.

And therein lies the difference.

Mugs.
