Only had it once back in the late 40's. Roasting made loads of goose dripping which both my dad and I loved on bread and toast instead of margarine ( butter was on ration). Remember it being rather runny as it did not set like roast beef or lamb dripping. Chip sandwiches with goose dripping were great.

Brilliant idea 
Sprouts are good, except when they're farted about with cream and stuff. Raw or just boiled a bit, lovely.
We grew them in our garden when I was younger and I loved eating them but I had to pick them when there was a frost and my hands were bloody freezing.
