It was my birthday yesterday. An interesting day for a variety of reasons, one being that I got informed by my GP that I have a fracture in my ankle. I had a rather nasty accident about 7 years ago when I drove off a 10-15m cliff.
My ankle is usually ok but from time to time gets painful so I mentioned it to my GP when I was getting a typhoid vaccination for my India trip. She said it was almost certainly ligament damage but I had to have an X-ray before they would scan it.

Another reason for 'interesting' is that the management at work have called a general staff meeting. We are expecting redundancies to be announced. I think my department will be ok but you can never be too sure.

I am very happy. I shouted at a bicyclist this morning. They should not be on the sidewalk but the roadway. I do not know if it the same for you but do bicyclists ride where they wish and have no concern for road law like here?

Good morning AK- I am very happy you shouted at a cyclist. We had a tube strike in London yesterday and half the residents of the city suddenly decided they would act like entrants in the Tour de France. I believe this is a subject which is almost worthy of its own thread!
