I believe klopp is going to barca or some such. He has said it seems (though i believe is it a scurrilous utd hack) that his dream is utd not city... this would suggest england is not his destination.

Barca look fantastic, not sure why they would replace what is obviously a working combination of Enrique and that current side. They should go after Hazard to make them even more impressive.

When you look back, the Utd hacks have claimed Guardiola wanted the United job, Mourinho was destined for United, now Klopp is wants the united job, all these quality managers, yet when the united job became available, United got Moyes

Klopp would be a good fit for us, but personally do not see it happening. He will be in high demand, and you would think he will end up at either Real Madrid or City? It is true that he may see us as the perfect 'project', but another more realistic part is thinking that he is leaving Dortmund with the knowledge that his skills are handicapped by financial constraints, and that he is wanting to showcase his skills on a level playing field with the likes of Mourinho, Ancelotti, Pep, and Co, he is not going to get that at Liverpool!

BBC keep conveniently leaving Woy out of the equation too
Woy didn't get 3 years.

The stat is, he's the only manager of Liverpool to not win a pot in his first 3 seasons, since the 50's.

Any who've failed to manage a pot have obviously been canned before 3 years was up.

yes cos hodgson is the press's darling right up until england fail at euros.

he never managed liverpool that was just a dream someone had...

Simple as this.

Anchelotti supposedly out at real.

Zidane in the backgorund making noises... is he the next man

klopp available.

Benetiz floating about

Pelligrini to go.

City reall want Guardiola....

By the time this summer washes out there will be a lot of managerial changes and liverpool are back of the queue when the big clubs go round knocking.

I've not even a clue what will occur in italy ffs.

simeone will be in demand too.

All in all it seems to me that its the right time to move but i think we will need to at least get 6th for Europa which is not at all certain and then move quickly.

Not that o really want Rodgers to go, but if he were to go, we need to get someone in wth a reputation to help attract players.

Another trophlyleas year and probably not in the CL. We may have Euopra which will help attract some players, (and actually a manager as well) but a manager with a good reputation will help attract those players if it's between us and another sinilar club like says Spurs or Inter Milan for example.

Have to to say that is one thing Rodgers doesn't have going for him. Would we have got Costa, Willian, Henri Ryan, Sanchez if we had say Wenger or Mourinho in charge? Maybe not, but we'd probably have had more chance than Wirh Rodgers just because outside england, not many will be overly familiar with him.

no massive fsult of his own, he's a young manager trying to build a reputation, but does put us at a disadvantage in the market.

Klopp wants a club where he can build something again according to those close to him.

Would Anfield fit the bill? Maybe.

I'd be gutted if you got him tbh, as I think the bloke will be superb in the PL, plus he's a right character to boot.

Why is everyone so keen on Klopp? He's walked away from a right steaming pile of ****e he's made at Dortmund.

ehhhhh..... did you not see the lads record in breaking bayern's stranglehold? did you not see the utter dominance bayern have monetarily and taking ALL his best players he built up?

In fairness to the guy he got dortmund up there didn't he.

he took over in 08 when they were midtable and brought them up top 6 then 5th then won two titles. plus one of those being the domestic double.

his only bloody mistake was not getting out when bayern were robbing his team blind.

he has to get as much credit as simeone at atletico for doing so.

Atletico were a total basket case but simeone has won them europe, la liga title and copa del rey... are they close this year.. **** no... will they lose more top players yes. godin will go next.

these two have serious reps round europe and have done as much as rafa did in valencia before he joined us.

NEITHER will join LFC.... simeone won't leave athletico for anythign less than a huge job and klopp i reckon already has his move lined up.

We'll still be stuck with Wendy next season, fake tan, fake teeth, fake g/f, fake sound bites and all. Flatters to deceive and cares more about appearances than substance this one. It shows on a football pitch.

Klopp or Simeone. One of those two is The One to takeover The One to win The One

I would take Simeone, would take Garcia too. Despite some thinking Klopp is after a building project, I think he will see us as too much to build. I would not be too disappointed in Koeman taking over, very impressive first season in the League!

Well we've already got half their squad so we might as well seal the deal with him <ok>:emoticon-0140-rofl:

I think John Henry is going to have the final say.Who ever sanctioned the purchase of Mario Balotelli
must be fired.Mario Balotelli is a total failure.<ok>
