Don't recall seeing it anywhere else, but does explain his silence - also might explain why all has gone quiet on the t/o front!!

LOL. I hadn't seen or heard of the first one either. Decided to do a search on 'Cellino'. 2 pages of links as the response! Only 2 for this year though.

Sure is - one thing I don't understand, he sold 50% of his shares in January and agreed to sell the other 50% at the end of the season, why waste money on lawyer fees going through a second appeal process a month later to be owner of a club you have already sold?
Or does the wily old fox have other plans?
i.e. lose 2nd appeal sell the rest, win appeal and keep his 50%?
Got me wondering too, and apart from the obvious, I wonder if his ban is honoured in Italy, thus preventing him buying a club over there. It's as good a punt as any.
Another thought I've had is that I tend to believe that he's done with Leeds. His ego & pride are important to him & both have taken regular batterings since day 1, from the FA, pressure groups, the press, & most importantly, the fans. I think he wants to go back to Italy simply 'cos he wants to be loved & knows how to effect it over there. Again, as good a punt as any
Personally think he's using the appeal process till after he's sold his remaining shares. Easier to do while he's not banned. Probably pack in the appeal when he's sold up.
