Good Morning Everyone,

Another game, another win!!!

Ow, and another clean sheet.

Must admit I had my heart in my mouth clean Green's clearance was blocked by a Derby forward and the ball ended up in the net.

Were we a bit fortunate to get away with that?

In seasons gone by, we would not have got away with that, handball or no handball.





Has the Leeds Utd curse been put to bed?

One of the things that Andrea Radrizzani is going to be doing at Elland Road is curing Cellino of his superstitions. (Could be interesting)





Who are the best side Leeds have played this season at ER.

According to Phil he, he reckons its Fulham.




Lastly, who can name these 5 ex Leeds players

Morning all. Even if the Derby goal had stood I've no doubt we'd have scored again. It was the most one sided one nil win I've ever seen and against what many said was supposed to be a very good team that's spent multiples of what we've spent over last couple of seasons. Looks like Monks contract is high in the Radz agenda and rightly so. Just need one of top two to hiccup each week
 
Morning all, great win and a near pefect performance that will put a bit of fear in anyone soon to play us if they watch that.

Middle lad looks like the guy from the Inbetweeners

Guess the final question can only be answered by someone who has attended all the home games so far.

A few questions were asked prior to the game, how will Green organise a new defensive setup in front of him, it was pretty spot on <ok>

Morning ristac, defence were great. Very impressed with Coyle, especially his overlapping...

I thought a lot could be said of Berardi's defensive performance as well. Ince is derby's main threat

Only thing I see with him, every time he plays LB he barely gets forward which is why I don't see him as an LB, he is a last resort at best imo. Played well though

Middle lad is Noel Whelan I think the lad next to him might be Jamie Forrester who scored one of the goals with a terrific overhead kick. I think the picture was taken at ER after they won the youth cup beating Man you home and away. Crowds of over 30,000 at each game.

On the disallowed goal. The only reason it is a talking point is that Bent illegally used his hand. If he hadn't then the ball was going passed him and no question would be asked. Green for it right in my mind. There are too many just looking for a stick to beat Green with.


Can we talk about fortress Elland road? How much is it affecting teams to come play here at the moment?
Derby were awful Friday, taking nothing away from Leeds of course, but before the match were the form team in the league.
Reading, in the play off spots but despite winning the possession stats were actually awful in our 2-0 victory.
Teams don't want to play at ER at the moment. How long has it been since we could say that?

Green should've contolled the ball, body swerved round Bent, done 20 keepy uppys and scorpion kicked it up to Wood :biggrin:

I watched the game on TV it was screened live I seem to remember... I thought Forrester was going to go on to be a superstar but sadly not

Morning all.

Fulham definitely the best side to visit ER this season. That's why they are the team I'm most worried about as I think they have a great chance for the top six. They play their game in hand next week against Reading so I'm not sure who to cheer for. Guess a draw would suit us best.

hemese is right, because the last couple of seasons we've been shyte at ER and teams loved coming here and abusing us and then the team got worried and performances dropped off .....

Monk has got the team at it, with the crowd bouncing all through the game and now putting the crap up the opposition again

Evening Josh, Berardi is a little exposed at left back, unless Dallas plays who supports him down the left side...

All wearing England shirts... all in the junior European championship winning squad that year. Bowman, sharp, whelan, forrester, newsome I think.

When you compare how the Man U side did as professionals it was a disappointing return for our boys. I had high hopes for sharp, but went to Wigan I think a few years later. Newsome and whelan did ok, forrester scored regularly in the lower leagues, bowman's career never really got going.
