Good Morning Everyone,

How was happy to leave the KC Stadium with a point?

Should we have taken all three?

Should Wood ever take a penalty again?

Should all forwards be good at taking penalties?

Do we have a better penalty taker?

Why do Leeds always concede before half time?

If they know they are venerable just before the break, they need to just clear their lines and boot the boot into the middle of next week, surely?

Has Evans taken THIS team as far as they can go?

Are they playing at their peak, or could Evans get more out of them?

Morning Elland and all. I suspect Evans is getting close to maximum from what he has available. No mean achievement and definitely deserves a full season in charge to see what he can do. He's averaging 1.42 points per match since taking over and 1.6 is what's required for playoffs so not far off given he inherited most of the squad rather than building it

Noel Whelan was absolutely spot on with his assessment :-

Really, they should have been getting rid of the ball but they were playing the wrong areas. Just see the game out to half-time, go into half-time at 1-0 and then that’s a fantastic first half.

With three minutes of extra time, don’t take any chance and don’t try and play football in the wrong areas. Just kill the game off.

Yes, they are trying to play football, which is great, but you have got to know when not to do things like that. It wasn’t the time or the place to start being clever in the wrong areas because good teams will pick you off like Hull did.

Morning Eire, well said pal

Dougie Freedman is interested in taking the hot seat at Elland Road if Evans is sacked in the Summer.

Morning all... Wood is the best striker we have but we do need better alongside him however I do feel he will improve next season. He didn't miss the penalty, it was saved, had the keeper gone the other way we wouldn't have said bad penalty.

I believe Evans has caused Cellino a massive headache, no doubt about it, Evans was out on his feet after Brighton but a few good results and with fans now wanting Evans to be given a whole season with proper backing.... Cellino faces a big backlash if he shows him the door.

I don't like Evans but he is proving that you need a bit of time to get the squad moving the right way. Back to square one if Evans goes IMHO.

If Evans goes I think it will be nailed on that we get a foreign coach, a Cellino yes man.

Think Evans will run the tank dry by the end of the season and with it win more points and have a higher league position than anyone since Larry. He does I feel have the best squad since Larry as it gets slightly better slowly, and the couple of players Evans has brought in are a success. Therefore he does deserve a chance, unless Cellino is going to bring in a top coach/manager and someone we would all want.

I would want to see us blood a couple of our young strikers this Summer and get young McDade back to see if he's learnt his trade. However another top striker required and a couple of top defenders & a grown up ball winner in midfield

Cellino doesnt have to sack Evans isnt his contract up not long after season ends ?
He will be replaced thats a guarantee because his mouth is too big Cellino likes lap dogs that do as theyre told and keep quiet about it <ok>
When things go wrong its the managers fault but when things go right Cellino opens his mouth to claim all the credit thats OK apparently <laugh>

If Cellino is serious about pushing next season he must keep Evans IMHO as much as i hate the bloke he is certainly turning things around <ok>

So Mighty, do we have a chance of the play offs next season if we keep EVANS?

All depends if Cellino stays or not and if Evans stays or not <ok>
My thoughts are Cellino is being far too quiet and if Cellino had any serious plans for giving you a push next year he would be mouthing off already <yikes>
Where Cellino is concerned no news is bad news i fear he is being advised and that advice could spell trouble <ok>

just my opinion <ok>

but to answer your question if Evans is still there next season and Cellino supports him fully you will have a real chance based on what Evans has done already <ok>
