Good Morning Everyone,

The transfer window has been sealed shut for another season.

But fear not....

The Emergency transfer window opens again soon <doh>

Who think the transfer window ought to be changed?

Why do we need a transfer window in the first place?

I like Bridcutt/Diagouraga. Carayol will have his moments. But Leeds haven't gone far enough in this window, especially after selling Byram.


Would you agree with that.

Did Leeds try hard enough to bring the right players to ER?

Do we believe that Antenucci's days at ER are numbered?

Will Leeds pull out all the stops in the Summer?

All of our neighbours have spent big, so why havn't we?

Have they overspent?

Only three can go up!

If the Wendies and Hull do not go up, they're screwed, surely?
 
Morning Elland. Yes I'm disappointed at the lack of signings, but I'd rather get the the ones we really need than spending for the sake of it. Maybe we could have opened the purse strings and got the few that we were going for,but remember what happened the last time we did. I think one of the reasons why Cellino didn't spend was because he doesn't think we have a chance of the play-offs. As for the other clubs, feck them, it might hopefully blow up in their faces. Ant will probably stay till the end of the season and run his contract down. He's no spring chicken, so I'd hope we'd get a decent replacement in the summer..<ok>

The window should never have been introduced in this country. You spend a couple of weeks panic buying players or just signing **** because the fans expect you to. Agreed we haven't gone far enough again. We need a CB, ST and LB but we've been running round after midfielders and wingers it's pretty sad. Why are still talking about Lafferty when it was clear Norwich wanted rid and not just loaned out. Ant can go now for all I care, we should have sold him over the last few weeks but no, we're going to let him go on a free.

I think Middlesbrough have sealed promotion by signing Jordan Rhodes.
 
Morning all. Couldnt have expected more from the window. For the umpteenth time, clubs dont sell their best strikers for peanuts in January. Despite the gloom merchants we still have all our crown jewels at the club, despite large bids on offer. Under Bates would Taylor or Cook still be with us today? Like hell they would. One player sold and he couldnt wait to get away so nothing could be done there. Midfield substantially strengthened over last few weeks. On another point, given that promotion or relegation look unlikely and given the abuse Cellino gets from some fans, why on earth should he spend anything in January. In fact, particulary on twitter, the most vocal anti everything Cellino lot are also the ones today complaining the loudest about lack of money spent.A tad hypocritical Id say

Afternoon all - I agree January isn't the best time to be signing new players but once again come the end of the season we will be playing catch up with the others who have stolen a march on us. We held on to Cook and Taylor so I guess that is a bonus.

WJ posted something disparaging yesterday? He was in malta with poor connectivity...

Kim texted me over the weekend.
He is hiding and my guess is he will only reappear if we get battered somewhere, or they get to Wembley in the tinpot trophy..
I think its a secret but he has been allowed to go for driver training.... Settled it for me I will go by coach or plane from now on.

If he fails I am sure we wont take the you know what very much.... Yeah right!!!!!!

"Well, I untied her and we made mad passionate love as a way of thanks!"

Olof says "I did a brilliant burglary last night and I am going to be seriously rich".
Shaks says "what did you rob?"
Olof" I don't rightly know, but I think it was some sort of art gallery"
Shaks" how do you work that out"
Olof" I stole all these pictures with prices on them. Some were £100k and some were £250k.
Shaks" you silly Cnut, you have robbed a Fecking estate agent".

Afternoon all. A modest TW. We only lost Byram, and we've got two decent replacements. We didn't get a much needed striker, but trying to buy a decent striker for a reasonable cost is nigh on impossible. How much did 'Boro spend on getting Rhodes? Heaven help 'em if they don't get promoted. All in all, I think we'll see money better spent during the summer
