The Breakfast Debate

Well surprise surprise it would seem that Belusci could be on his way back to Italy hence the need for further coverI won't miss him to head strong for me always giving away needless free kicks and penalties and bookings galore

Disagree with you there 60. He's our second best centre back by a long way and I don't think Cellino will be keen to sell him either.

Afternoon all

We could be set a for a busy week regarding transfers.

If the Watford Lad doesn't want to come then screw him let's find somebody else. As for Bellusci I'm not going to be sad to see the back of him.

Problem is I believe we already need to sign a centre back without anyone leaving. If Bellusci leaves we probably need to buy 2 and then thats 2 new centre backs that need to adapt quickly. We have been very good defensively this season so far.

We're being linked with Liam Moore (Again) and Jack Hobbs, with Bamba, Cooper and Wootton we'll have 5 CBs. If we can pull it off. Granted it might take some time to fit in but I think there is an international break after the window closes for them to get settled.

Good morning from a very sunny Matt and co sorry I am late but have had my usual discussion with Ristac I think its safe to say we disagree on most things starting right here .He states its a shame about the lad I say we should not entertain him period .Anyone who doesn't want to join our club for whatever agenda they have are not fit to wear the shirt .I remember many years back when you were still in short pants Matt and Glory and Ristac where still un born .We tried to sign Duncan Ferguson from Dundee United .He was also wanted by Rangers unfortunately Dundee took the stance they would not sell him to Rangers and so we had a Mexican stand off
Ferguson came to Leeds and his excuse was he didn't think his racing pidgeons would settle here .This went on for 6 weeks eventually Dundee capitulated and sold him To Rangers
This is the scenario with Foresteiri he wants a severance payout I say let him go elsewhere I did say let Glory show him the retail outlets in Leeds because he seems to be an expert on shopping centres but it would appear his heart is elsewhere .No move on get someone who wants to wear the shirt with pride
BTW the anti christs amongst us are not crowing so much now I notice as we appear to be prepared to spend MONEY
BEST midfield Murphy Aeyemi Dallas Cook and AN OTHER! Not signed yet
Duncan Feguson - racing and racing pidgeons??? Really?

I'm glad that Cellino is plashing the cash

Morning all ... truth be told we outplayed Wednesday's midfield but lacked an Attacking Midfielder joining up play in the final third, which is why Rosler is after Forestieri so if this deal falls through then expect another target to surface besides Limbombe who is a wide man ... Blazing Squad played well last night, Murphy scored a screamer and dominated midfield, Cook looked lively but rusty in patches, Sloth was up and down the park without influencing much, Erwin looks like Lee Chapman with Viduka's touch and scored a beauty

Youngsters who are going to star for Leeds if they continue improving are Skelton (CB), Coyle (RB), Purver (DM/CB), Denton (LB) ... Dawson can play for sure, but he still gets knocked off the ball far too easily, and took a serious fall onto his shoulder which raised fears that the previous injury that forced him to miss most of last season may have resurfaced again

Agree that the big positive is Leeds are willing to spend on players, and it clearly shows ambition for a promotion challenge THIS season along with a belief in Rosler to get it right ... a win at Derby on Saturday will be exactly what we need to give us the confidence to take on all comers and set us up for consistent performances

Afternoon Pal, I loved Chapman, amazing headerer...

for ristac ... "Dawson can play for sure, but he still gets knocked off the ball far too easily, and took a serious fall onto his shoulder which raised fears that the previous injury that forced him to miss most of last season may have resurfaced again" ... truth is he did nothing brilliant, had early shot that hit the bar ... surprisingly his ball control was patchy which is unlike him ... lost one on one tackles too easily but was willing to race back and defend ... think he does need a season loan in Lge Two playing proper competitive football, but can't see lower league managers wanting to take a chance as he may struggle physically ... doesn't look as if he is going to beef up, and when you look at the power of younger lads like Mowatt, Cook, Phillips, Purver and Coyle you do worry for Dawson ... he is going to have to be exceptional to make up for his small frame for him to have a good career, and at the moment he is simply decent

I totally agree not strong enough lets hope he gets stronger otherwise he will end up at Guiseley

Good Morning Everyone,

Quite frankly I'm relieved that we do not have a midweek game this week, and will be able to concentrate on our lunchtime kick off at Pride Park on Saturday.

It does not look good on the Fernando Forestieri transfer front. Rumour has it that a move to Leeds is not high on his priority; we'll have to wait and see.

Lewis Cook revealed that he learned a useful lesson following his sending off v Doncaster a few weeks back. "I got a bollocking but after that the manager was great with me."

Surely Cook will go straight back into the starting line up.

Who are our best 4 / 5 midfielders?

When was the last time we dominated a midfield?

Erwin, Cook and Murphy all played Sheffield United last night. The Whites ran out 2-1 victors, Erwin impressed a lot of people.
