Doc, he did say he was happy with the quality in the squad but not the size of it. It's too small.

Exactly....

We've got 21 'numbered' players, you take more to a World Cup how are we going to last a whole season with that few a players. I don't want to player square pegs in round holes with lots and lots of short term loan deals

Morning all,

Watched the game on LUTV and really enjoyed it. Really wish they were able to show all matches and charge say £10 per game as the revenue from TV rights from the league and Sky for live matches is a pittance for a club of our size and world renown.

Thought Charlie Taylor was excellent at LB, hopefully Rosler agrees and let's him nail down the position and develop as I think he has huge potential.

Wood is class, a huge upgrade on Morison.

Cautiously optimistic as long as we keep Sam.
Good call regarding live screening of the games, especially handy for supporters who live outside of Leeds and can't get to as many games. But I think it's the FL who would block anything like that happening.

Anyone answer why we played in Yellow and not white against EVERthievingTON, and are we using the all yellow for away games this season like we used to, instead of those pathetic away strips we have had over the past few seasons?
Morning Doha and all fellow Whites fans, I'm guessing it was for marketing reasons, so we could sell a few more shirts. Best shirts for a while, I just wish they had a cotton version, like the Rhinos do.

There would be no way a deal could be done currently to allow away games to be screened. Even home games been screened at the same time as other games is a no no as things stand. So every kick off would be at stupid o clock and there would be consequences for matchday attendances... Hasn't football sold out more than enough to the TV watching plastics already (you know who you are)? :emoticon-0173-middl

Hi Everyone

Been a while since I've posted on here.

Was really happy with the Everton friendly on Saturday thought we looked good on the ball and the set up for Mowatt's goal was nice to see! Great to see that Wood wasn't afraid to have a go as well and deserved that goal!

Just bought my ticket for the Burnley game. Cant believe it's £33 to sit in the Kop!!! Ridiculous, but hopefully we can get the 3 points to make it worth it?

Morning Shako <ok> you ok pal, its all about the dosh, and lets squeeze afew more bucks out of the loyal supporter!!!

As for FL blocking peoples right to view, i think they should all be horse whipped.

Afternoon Chippy, first day back at work so its a no from me <laugh>

Cant believe the ALF rumours. We surely arent looking at another forward.

Looking forward to seeing Dallas play and didnt think we would ever be signing Buckley which is a real shame.

What was Woods goal like against Everton? I saw Mowatts, class move by everyone.

Wood's goal was a 25 yard strike that took a deflection off the keeper. His effort earlier in the game from similar distance was decent too. He does strike the ball hard from what I saw of him at Leicester.

Cheers Josh <ok>

Yep, I've seen him hit some screamers and i'm glad he is off the mark already, albeit pre season!

I just feel it would be a good deal for the club, the extra revenue. Of course it won't happen.<ok>

I know I shouldn't get wound up by these articles, but this one has got under my skin. Probably because it was written by someone in Londonshire that knows FA about Leeds & just makes it up as he goes along. An example ...

However we think two bigger priced clubs could struggle and profit is there to be made in backing Leeds United to go down at 4/1 and Brentford at 20/1. Leeds are constantly in turmoil it seems but Uwe Rosler may not be the man to lift them and off-field issues may get in the way again.

Does he think that off-field issues are a new thing for us? <doh> We've had them every year this century & only gone down twice - and it was more to do with crap teams than anything else that caused those.

Pillock! Won't even let me leave a comment! :emoticon-0183-swear
