Spot on Eire, when you speak to youngsters abroad these days, especially away from the tourist areas, a lot of them look at you blank when you mention Leeds. Its mainly older people who can remember them. You still meet leeds fans all over the world but they tend to be older and can remember the 60/70's.

I know it's a bit of a stretch for you to read & understand english, TC, but I think you'll find that he's talking about the club Juve, and the players of Juve (he still sees them as Juve players even though they've left the club). 2 quite separate things.

It's a bit like us - we hate scum & those who play or have played for them. Simples.
 
I'm not bothered with Smiths comments really, although I though he was an educated young lad, most footballers are thick as ****e. If he thinks Fulham are a bigger club than Leeds United because they were in the sky(money ruined) premshit, well it shows he's stupid. Big clubs regardless of time outside the premiershit are judged by trophies, support, history etc etc, what exactly have Fulham done or won, reached a final against the wallies fav club. The excuse that he's young and knows nothing pre premier is laughable. I wasn't born when Leeds city became Leeds Utd but I read and know the history. The same with anything in History be it certain music genres, wars etc....I wasn't around then but I still know about them.

Fulham may well go straight back up again to make the numbers up in the prem, maybe they won't, I'm not mystic meg, but I'm sure they're in for a culture shock over the forth coming season and maybe R.Mc might be regreting(money wise not) his move.

Is it just me or does Dave sound a little miffed at not being kept in the loop, or ticked off that Big M had told everyone it was complete when it wasn't?
