Good Morning Everyone,

Two more signings before Saturday.....

That is what Cellino has told the YEP!!!

We can expect another defender (I'm thinking a left back). The other is a forward (a goalscorer)

The lack of structure and style Cellino wanted to see on Saturday, and didn't annoyed him so much, he summond Hockaday to his office Monday morning.

“We are not there yet, not good enough,”

“Promotion – I will know for sure after the first three games if we can do it. Ask me then. But at the moment, I think not.”

The 58-year-old talks over and over about teaching United “humility”. He says it “p***es me off” to remember the way in which Leeds’ previous owner, Gulf Finance House, made noises about promotion, stability and future growth at the same time as the club lost millions of pounds and built up a debt which Cellino agreed to service.

“The season is coming fast,” Cellino said, “but I want to sell humility here. I don’t want to sell bulls**t to the people. It’s too easy to do that.

Looking at the squad we have now, we have to be more than satisfied with our dealings in the transfer market during the Summer!!!

Is anyone disappointed by our transfer activity in the last three months?

Looking at the squad we now have (bearing in in mind we'll have two new arrivals shortly) is a top six finish achievable?

Is a top six finish expected of us?

Ross McCormack has told the press he wants to be remembered for winning promotion with Fulham!!!

Thoughts?

Frederik Sorensen will go straight into the starting line up against Millwall on Saturday.

Who would be in your starting line up this weekend?

Durham, we look forward to your match reports <ok>

Morning Elland and all. One thing is for sure Elland, the forum will be a lot livelier this year. Can't see too many dull moments with the sheriff around. I'm off to practice some humility this morning. Can't describe how much I'm looking forward to Saturdays game and seeing how our new team perform under pressure

Morning Eire,

Its good to see new members coming on. Lets all make them feel welcome.

Eire, can't see too much pressure from Millwall, and with odds of nearly 2/1 for a Leeds win, it must be worth a little flutter.

Good morning Matt and co from a cloudy cote de Bardsey
Now not let us get carried away we are not there yet but I feel we should sign Agard to give stability on the right and a striker given those 2 we have a great chance depending on how the TEAM gel
We now have a strong back 4 I would play Berarto Sorenson Pearce and The lad who played at left6 back in place of Warnock Taylor
McCormack maybe the worst buy Fulham will ever make remember he took a great deal of time to settle in Leeds and already has a fall out with the manager this will cause unrest with his team mates so I have written them off for promotion
Mike

Morning all. On one level, all these incomers along with Mowatt, Murphy and the kids will make us into a good side capable of winning things. But this will take time as the newbies are blended in with the pensioners (anyone left from last season not currently residing in a concrete overcoat). So as I said elsewhere, let's see where we are after the first 10 games. At least we know for certain that we're in for an interesting season, AND we'll be playing some proper footy.

On Ross wanting to be remembered for getting Fulham promoted, so be it. He's trying to better himself. We would all want that in his position. Will be interesting to see his reaction if he were to score against us this season. Would be so sad if our new 9ft 15 defender were to stand on his big toe in the first 5 minutes to keep Ross quiet during the game.

On ho's playing where and assuming evryone's fit, I'd go for:

Italian gk
Beradi Pearce Sorenson Warnock
Byram Murphy Austin Bianchi
Doukara Smith

Morning all, only 2 days and I can be reading a Durham MDT again!

On humility I think we are world champions at showing humility, no one can beat us at it - is that enough humility, Massimo

Another 2 in would be brilliant, this is the first season for a while I have really been looking forward to with more anticipation than dread

Morning all. I read it as he thinks we're two players short, so maybe two before the window shuts rather than two before Saturday. Centre half and striker are the two obvious additions, I'd like to see someone to give us width as well... though maybe doukara can do that.

Goals are the worry at the moment, but we're going to be a young side trying to play football. I suspect we'll be inconsistent, but I'll take that over what we've witnessed in the last few years.

Elland, think he meant new defender & striker before Sep 1st <ok>

No wingers to come in as I said all along, he does not play with them. Ajose & Doukara will provide the width up front along with attacking full backs imo.

A mate went to see them train yesterday and Hock mainly played with Morison on the left Doukara up top and Ajose on the right of a attacking 3, this is how I expect them to start on Saturday against Millwall.

Hopefully get a new striker in soon and Morison will be benched, Hunt looks on his way out if anyone will take him, trained with the u21s yesterday as did Smith.

Morning all ... one thing about Cellino, he is a doer and gets on with it ... as Cellino says, let's have a look after the first few games where we are in terms of challenging, we may be pleasantly surprised ... Ross can get fcuked now, what a stupid fcuking statement to make, and I think Fulham will struggle to walk it as expected because they have a Sgt Major for a manager who makes them run and run and run, and his squad are not happy bunnies, can see Magath being sacked by November ... compared to recent seasons this season's transfer activity so far has been unbelievable, signing talented young players, actually spending money, long may it continue ... on signings can you actually believe that Forest have gone and paid £5.5m (rising to £8m) for Assombalonga from Peterborough, WTF is going on, not even Ross was worth that fee, just crazy, and now the lad will be playing at a club where promotion is expected with a hefty price tag on his head (club record) so watch him implode under the pressure that never existed at London Road ... now, team for Saturday (and I think this is what Hock will do):

Silvestri ... Byram, Sorensen, Pearce, Warnock ... Bianchi, Murphy, Austin, Tonge, Morison ... Smith

Team I'd like to see:

Silvestri ... Byram, Sorensen, Pearce, Warnock ... Bianchi, Murphy, Austin ... Morison, Smith, Doukara

We shall see, but most important thing for us is that we win, because if we want to contend we need to be beating teams like Millwall, Barnsley, Blackpool etc.

... Read elsewhere, that they've been trying Morrison doukara and ajose as a front 3 in training. Not sure they like smith in the wingless, possession game they're trying to play.

An interesting set up Milky. That would leave Smith and Poleon to come on as impact subs for Doukara and Morison respectively. Not too bad a position to be in.

Yeh boggers, be jnteresting to see it, quite an attacking set up on the face of it.
