Morning Peeps,
A lapse of concentration from veteran keeper Paddy Kenny saw Leeds drop two vital points against the Tractor boys last night.
Leeds dominated for large periods of the game but went a goal down just before the hour mark when McGoldrick’s long range speculative shot managed to squirm under Paddy Kennys ample body. Don't know your thoughts, but I feel sorry for the ball!!!
I'm not going to dwell too much, but that is the second gaff in as many matches that a glaring mistake from our keeper has cost us points....
Leeds got back in the match a few minutes later when Stewart was bought down in the box, and the ref pointed at the spot. McCormack made no mistake, hammering the ball home from 12 yards.
Largely it was an uninspiring performance by both sets of players, but particularly disappointing performances again from Leeds new wingers Kebe and Stewart.
Have they not settled in yet?
Do they think they're too good for the Championship?
Are the off the field antics getting to the players?
Did Ross seem to have a bit more confidence last night?
We want to hear your thoughts.......
Cellino was in the stands last night, and was clearly captured by our undercover Not606 roving reporter, known only as Mr W...
If you turn your head, and squint, you can kinda make him out
You may recall that Andy Flowers, part of the Haigh consortium is none too happy that GFH Capital are talking to Cellino and other parties. (I'm sure somebody from here will post the links).
It has been reported on the website Tuttomercatoweb that it is 'certain' Leeds will be loaned playmaker Andrea Tabanelli, to assist McCormack up front. I wonder where that rumour comes from???
An author of a new book about the Hillsborough disaster is hoping to speak to Leeds fans...
Mike Nicholson is hoping to speak to Leeds supporters who were stood on the terraces behind the goal at the Leppings Lane end of Sheffield Wednesday’s home ground in April 1987.
The 41-year-old from London hopes we can shed light on what it was like for supporters in the central pens of the stand two years before the country’s biggest sporting disaster took place. If you were there, and want to share your experience, please contact Mike on his email [email protected]
