Fury will win this as long as he keeps the distance on the counterpunch, Wilder fights like a pissed up woman, having a belief that the Tyson aggression will see him through, it's ok throwing a punch but when in your head you are waiting for the applause then the lights will go out when you fight good fighters..
<laugh> I'm going to use that when describing his fighting style.

Don't think that Fury has the power to knock him out though - predict it will go to a decision unless Wilder gets lucky with his windmill punches while calling him a slag

I still think Wilder is gonna out him down. I'm sure all that abuse Fury did is gonna catch up with him, and having to lose 7 st.

<ok>

If Fury has got into his head, it's Fury's fight.

Fury looked bang average his last two fights and he's lost a hell of a lot of weight, maybe a little bit to much. That's the only question marks against him, imo. He's on a different level to Wilder.

I’d agree with this, except he never looks better than average to me.

On the news they were saying he’s dropped 10 st. That’s a hell of a lot of weight and it may well have weakened him doing it.

Not sure how dropping 140+ lbs of useless fat can make somebody weaker mind. He’s literally made himself fitter and stronger.

Losing that amount of weight in a relatively short time takes effort and strict diet,

It can easily weaken a person.

He's dropped a lot of weight, very quickly.

His diet was burgers, cheese, bacon, sausage and eggs. He hasn't done it in a healthy way.

Wilder has come into this very light at 15st 2, giving over 3st to Fury. That’s a real surprise to me, the lightest he’s been in 10 years as a pro.

That there is a worry for someone that already had single figure fat % and relies on power - last time he was that weight he was recovering from an illness.

If it’s deliberate, he must be intending trying to dance round him for round and round waiting for him to gas and then picking him off late on.

Fury likes to walk his opponents down and press them, so he’s going to have to get him swinging and missing if he’s going to get him gassing.

Think Wilder is a bit shook....hiding behind masks etc. Fury can mindfuck most before a glove is laid. Wilder might hit him with a sweet one but the longer it goes on the more I expect Tyson to wear Wilder down...miles better boxer than Wilder.

I don't mind either but I love the Gypsy King

He is a really good boxer, if rather boring to casual fans as he is a grinder which you don't expect from a man his size, but he is an absolute **** of a human being.

Yes he had a really crap upbringing and has mental health issues but that does not excuse the fact that he is a dickhead.

You’re going to have to explain the science behind that it just doesn’t make sense. If you’re suggesting he’s been eating 800 calories a day or something then you’re massively mistaken.

There’s no logic to saying losing fat at any rate is unhealthy, unless he’s starved himself, which he hasn’t.

He’s only lost about 2 stone since the summer anyway. A pound a week is healthy by any standards.

This time last year he was drinking like a fish, snorting beak and eating mounds of junk food.

Once you’ve let yourself go like that you’re done as a top level athlete imo. He’s lost the weight and fair play to him, but he’ll never be as physically fit as he was at his absolute peak, as he’s absued himself.

I genuinely doubt he’s ever been one of those athletes who has eaten a clean diet. I get that taking drugs will have had some sort of negative impact on his physique, but what about the other side of the game? His head is in a far better place now that it was when he got into the ring with Klitschko. Mentally he’s sharper than he was then, undeniably.

Wilder will obviously push him harder than the last two bums ever could, so maybe his endurance will be tested in the latter rounds.

I think I’m going to back Wilder to win by KO from the 9th on.
