Hagler and Hearns "The War"

Easily one of the most entertaining title fights ever.

Thought AJ boxed well tonight. I don’t think he had the bombs to have won ko. Only fighter I think that could Ruiz out is wilder.

mid love to see AJ vs fury as they are both good boxers. If it ever happens I think fury would win as has a better chin.

I think both fury and AJ could beat wilder if they managed to not get hit by one his bombs.

Fury will go after AJ after beating the one trick yank *****.

Whyte will fight AJ again soon I reckon. A fight people will buy all day long.

Whyte would **** wilder sideways btw <ok>

I dont agree , but we will find out. I hate wilder btw

No point it will just be jab jab straight right hold for 12 rounds...zzzzz

Where’s @Tobes the casual?

You rang?

I said yesterday I thought he’d probably look to box at range behind the jab like he did against Parker. Quality display, you could tell he’d been working hard on the cardio as he’s been gassing by about the 8th in fights when he’s been bulked. Last night he looked like he could have done another few rounds comfortably.

Ruiz only had one hope, same as last time, being allowed to get inside by getting AJ into a tear up. He didn’t get a sniff, as AJ kept to the gameplan perfectly. He shut a few up with that display.

Thought Whyte looked awful, out of shape, overweight and poorly prepared. Maybe partly understandable in the circumstances, but he needs to get his head down and train hard if he’s going to get the truly big stage fights at this level.

The rest of the card was absolute dogshit.

What the **** was that penultimate fight? Given the Uber driver some gloves to get his head knocked off on PPV before a heavyweight world title fight. Bizarre.

Anyone who didn't watch it probably shouldn't bother, unless you're really bored. Fight starts at about the 17 minute mark.
Someone might enjoy it though, I guess.

a boring fight wasn't it …. now ah will avoid wilder until he shows signs of losing his power because wilder will ko Joshua … I hate wilder , but it's quite simple Joshua is chinny and wilder will catch him at some point and it's game over. I really hope fury can beat him in February he's the only one that might be able to avoid being hit for 12 rounds, but bare in mind even he failed twice in the 1st fight

Nobody is avoiding Wilder ffs, his technique is ****ing awful. He’s a big puncher, destined for the scrap heap. Fury embarrassed the useless **** off the back of dispatching 10 stone and two absolute bums.

They need to stop putting bums in the ring with Dubois he’s gonna kill one of them.

Get him in with somebody good next, not ****ing Joyce ffs. Whyte will do.

Really crap opponent for a couple of cheap belts. Pointless.
Might be an idea to start picking off a few of the American ****bags, like Arreola, Stiverne or Molina.
Dubois is young and relatively inexperienced, but he's largely fighting utter ****e and also failing to increase his profile.
Probably too early to go for a Takam or Breazeale just yet, but they shouldn't be too far down the line.

Great performance by
Williams against a man who towered over him

He’d smash Brezeale into 2021 if he was within 6ft of him.
