I said finished at the very top level. The percentages are so small and crucial there that being out of the ring for a couple of years sniffing gear and piling on stones will have an effect. As I say it is more a gut feeling than anything else
The Joshua camp said he shouldn't fight Klitshko but he did. Don't think he's the one bottling the Wilder fight. He's got no reason to dodge anyone, as he's the best around.
Nothings gonna ever keep him down Seriously though, I dont think we can say that until he beats the winner of tomorrows fight, then it will be undisputed.
50-50 split is an absolute **** deal - Joshua made £20M in his last fight while Wilder made £1.5M. WTF would Joshua who holds 3 belts need to bow down before Wilder who only holds 1? Either way Joshua will be fighting at Wembley on 13 April 2019 - will be interesting to see who he will be facing.
Because Joshua wants all 4 and to unify the division. To do that he needs Wilder's belt, he probably needs the fight more than Wilder. What they made in their previous fights is irrelevant, it is this fight they are negotiating and if it is to be at a big venue like Wembley and earn millions then offering Wilder some token amount and saying "well last time you only earnt a fiver" is complete bullshit. It will be Whyte in April I reckon
See that just sounds like an excuse to me. If he wants to be the undisputed heavyweight champion, he would take whats on offer, and stop quibbling over a few quid.
How come the reverse isn't the case? Why isn't Wilder getting blasted for not taking what is on offer and to stop quibbling over a few quid? Parker took a 35% split and made £8M which is more then Wilder made in his last 6 fights combined.
Because it doesnt get fairer than 50-50 mate. They are both undefeated World Champions. The fact that more knob jockeys cream their knickers over Joshua is neither here nor there. There's quibbling over a few quid, and then there is bending over and letting yourself get arse ****ed.
Like your lad Pricey every time he steps in the ring. That lad has been switched off more times than John Wayne’s safety catch.
If fair is what you are after then Joshua holds 3 world titles and Wilder holds 1, they are fighting in Joshua's back yard in front of the majority of his fans so 75-25 would be most appropriate right?
So Povetkin, who wasn't a world champ, got roughly 25% of the purse. Why would Wilder accept anything less? Why shouldn't he want significantly more and close to 50%? He is coming to Joshua's home to fight him and bringing a world title with him, he is in a great position for negotiation.
