    Haye calling out Fury.

**** me he pulled out and bottled fighting him years ago.

Absolutely no way Fury would give him the time of day - has said that Haye has cost him at least a year of farting about in the past.

I liked Haye but for me he's been retired about 10 years when he decided to try it out in Hollywood and failed.

Fury as far as I'm concerned is an inactive fighter.

Does not box anywhere near enough and its getting tedious.

Maybe. Bellew only fought 9 times at Cruiserweight winning 8 and losing 1. He failed to unify. If he had moved up earlier maybe he could have cleaned up the division. He decided to box at light heavy and try and use his size to bully his way but Stevenson was just a class above.

As I said earlier Haye had 22 fights at Cruiserweight, won 21, with 20 KO's. He also unified 3 of the 4 belts. That's a hell of a record at Cruiserweight and the reason him and Johnny Nelson are above him in the British all time list.

Only lost twice. Beat an ageing Holyfield and beat John Ruiz twice.

Wasn't pretty but it was effective.

Looking forward to tonight, main event an interesting fight but the undercard should be decent too.

Think Joshua will have too much power but an Usyk win on points wouldn't surprise me at all.

Same, should be a good nights boxing. Part of me is worried AJ’s heart was never in this fight, he didn’t want it, it gives him nothing & he’s got everything to lose, that combination often doesn’t end well. I’d like to see him just smash Usyk into next week, as he’s not a true heavyweight in the current era, but who knows how it’ll pan out. Usyk is famed for his stamina but he’s piled it on to come in at 15st 11”, can he carry that in the latter rounds where he’s usually so strong? Dunno,

If it goes 12 I’d say Usyk is favourite, it I don’t expect it to go 12. AJ by KO for me.

Think your first two sentences can be applied to Fury & Wilder as well tbh. Think there's more than a decent chance at least one of them loses.

I agree, they could both lose, and the Fury team would have set fire to maybe as much as £200m with their rank amateurishness. What a **** up that was, like Wilder was going to forget he had a contractual option, the first thing they should have done is paid him, before the AJ fight was even discussed in any serious manner. One of the great boxing **** ups of all time that.

They were probably hoping that he'd duck it after the battering he took in the last meeting.

From a business perspective it was as slack as a bag of bolts. If they’d have put some cash on the table in the days after his mullering I reckon he’d have likely taken it. But they tried to wing it and with every day that passed his position got stronger.

So if aj loses tonight, does that mean the fury fight will be off?

Probably not. Rematch with Usyk and then see how it lies.

Marku with a good opening round. The ring looks pretty small.
