    Thing is that a lot of people have it wrong about all skins are racist thugs. Yeah there were some knuckle draggers, loads weren't. For instance we had 3 black lads, all skins, knocking about with us.

    Did indulge myself with a pair of cherry red 1460s in my teenage years in the 70s ... had a black pair too ... school uniform <laugh>

    Cherry red were the originals ... 1460 = 1st April 1960 ... date they first went on sale <cheers>

    I think a lot of them were sexually confused tbh. Being openly gay was not a thing in the early 80’s bro.

    I was a really good looking young thing back then, and my mere existence used to induce some genuinely vicious aggression from sexually repressed skins. Was weird thinking back tbh.

    I used to love my Dr Martens (Cherry), I didn't have much money back in them days, but I always had a pair, so I know from that they couldn't have been expensive.
