I predict McClaren will walk when they sell his best players in January and don't replace them as a reward for having made a good start to the season.

I predict the season will follow this outline:

1. We will make a fairly bad start, 4pts from our first 8 games.
2. After losing Man City away, the first threads about Steve being incompetent will be posted, after previous posts praising patience.
3. We will lose against Sunderland away, where everything will go wrong. Sending-off, no goals for, 3 goals against.
4. By Bournemouth away, there will be rumours about Mclaren being sacked (which will never materialise).
5. By the half way point, we will have scuffed a few results and sit on 21 points (about 14th place).
6. There will be no signings in January, and one outgoing.
7. We will not improve at all in the second half of the season, and endure a paltry return of points that again leaves us on the precipice.
8. We get relegated from the premier league. There will be marches, there will be flyers, there will probably not be horse-punching (but they'll cancel the races just in case), and we'll all be discussing the prospect of facing teams in the championship in 12 months...

We've been down there once too many times now lads in the last few seasons. Sunderland and ourselves are in big trouble, and whoever spends the smartest is going to be safe.

BRS and Mr T must really hate you with all that positivity floating around.

Frighteningly possible.

However, I think it'll all be much more mundane. We'll play better football, win some unlikely matches, hover around mid-table and be generally dull but alright.

Good thanks. <ok>

Won't be on much over the next week or so though, as moving house this week.
