Bottom line is, the club is just that, a club. The club is for the people who like watching Rangers play football. Without the fans, there is no club.

I actually agree with this. <ok>

I do as well. Doesn't make him any less of a ****** for bitching about clubs and companies being different entities after offering their legal binding as one entity as a reason they are seperate.

The legal entity is dead. The spirit moves on to the new club.

can someone explain to me why rangers transferred their licence to play to themselves if they were the same thing anyway, I`ve always found that a bit confusing.

Because the SFA made up new rules. Full of Rangers haters so they urr. Never before have they not allowed a new legal entity to transfer membership to a new legal entity, that proves beyond all doubt that when Rangers get found totally innocent by BDO they can then have their old membership given back... and all the prize money too. They will probably get loads of dosh for "Hurt Feeelings" and all they kickings they got while they were down.

Rangers now, Rangers then, Rangers forever, unless they owe someone money then it's a different Rangers.

the same governing body that say your last game was in 2012?

The problem with linking to these articles is that eventually 20,000 emails from Follow Follow will flow into Nyon, and some **** there will think '**** it, I don't care enough to argue that it is or is not a new club, change the record to whatever will shut them up'. Almost everyone on the planet is apathetic towards the Rangers situation, and indeed in some quarters there is actually pity for their fans plight, so the 'kinder' version of history will eventually permeate everywhere that is neutral - and the huns will start linking to these articles themselves to prove points in argument.

I think you've pretty much nailed it there Mick - the truth will be obscured which is a sign of the times. In the past, history was written by the 'victors' which of course skewed things very much in their favour but in the present 'PC' world, it seems that everything has to be bland in case someone may be offended or perceive that offence has been caused or intended. A sad state of affairs, I think.

On the other hand, of course, a thread like this presents the ideal opportunity to tell the truth and in so doing, annoy a few Sevco supporters ... completely unintentionally you understand.
