can someone explain to me why rangers transferred their licence to play to themselves if they were the same thing anyway, I`ve always found that a bit confusing.

The problem with linking to these articles is that eventually 20,000 emails from Follow Follow will flow into Nyon, and some **** there will think '**** it, I don't care enough to argue that it is or is not a new club, change the record to whatever will shut them up'. Almost everyone on the planet is apathetic towards the Rangers situation, and indeed in some quarters there is actually pity for their fans plight, so the 'kinder' version of history will eventually permeate everywhere that is neutral - and the huns will start linking to these articles themselves to prove points in argument.
