To be fair, we're talking about one of the biggest clubs in the World, Champions League ever-presents, hugely dominant force in English football, currently EPL Champions getting beaten, fairly comfortably, by both Everton and Newcastle. I have watched time and again the red tide come at not just Newcastle but other clubs. There was a time not so long ago when scoring against Man U would simply result in a 4 or 5-1 obliteration. It never happened Saturday, it was even easier than Everton had it. The quality of the leading pack is such that slip-ups are not going to be regularly seen so when you're talking about Man U finishing 6th or lower....it's kinda seismic.
Brilliant, but seismic.
