Perhaps if they took Lionel Messi off selling the pies, Cristiano Ronaldo off cleaning the boots, Pep Guardiola off cutting the grass, and Jurgen Klopp off making the tea and got them doing the jobs they are best at they would be further up the table :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Not a chance Spurs would catch them even if there were 8 games left. The Mags won’t go pointless and Spurs won’t show the fight needed. Spurs drop for me as West Ham have shown more grit when it matters.
I wouldn't disagree with any of that, but,if the Mags lose today and the Hammers win....the meltdown will be hilariously wonderful and they'll be sat sweating on Spurs at Villa Park tomorrow evening. <laugh>

Sadly I agree.

Be fun watching the fallout when Brighton do them today though.

Brighton are a very good side.

We could do with Brighton not winning if we do of course.

We kind of have a win/win on them today if we get a win.

do fancy West Ham to win today mind.

I’m fully aware my post was boring as f@@k I just fancied being serious for once. <laugh>
But I agree a collective arse twitch on Tyneside with certain results would be hilarious.

Thing is they gonna lose Tonali, Gordon and possibly Tino, that only leaves them really Bruno, Thiaw and Hall who are genuinely decent.

Then no CL money coming in, how do they replace of similar standard?

They certainly aren’t on the up next season on the face of it.

Careful what you wish for.

Off the back of their summer transfers you wouldn't trust them to spend either, went for names rather than talent and it has backfired.

Is Bruno not linked away aswell?

Yeah I think they'll be safe, Spurs are too poor and too far behind to catch them. That said I can see them being caught be Forest and West Ham. If they can go down, finishing 17th is the next best thing. Only surviving because of how poor Spurs are would be something they won't be able to take well!

17th would superb, just in time for another rebuild
