Exactly the same scenario for me. Could any one tell me the correct way to cancel my membership for next season ? I've emailed the club, no reply, and I've heard tales of people being chased through the small claims court for cancelling their standing orders.
What is the correct procedure ?
Sussing the lying bastards years earlier and so not buying into their dirty game in the first place?

Maybe we should all contact them & request what details they hold on each of us.
This is the type of clever protest that would REALLY piss off ehab & it’s all legal.

They must be other ways we can apply this.... 10,000 applications for a corporate box, 10,000 enquiries for advertising.

Time for a new approach to protesting that doesn’t effect the team but crippled the internal running of the club

Guerilla warfare tactics. Time for a Ku Da Ta

Im planning on doing that when the legislation kicks in at the end of May

Then I’ll probably invoke my ‘right to be forgotten’ !!!

Twat...Now you’ve made me read the competition terms and conditions!

Here’s my summary

a) In classic anti children style if anyone wins the prize then they won’t be taking any kids with them...because the holiday must be taken in one specific week, and that week is two weeks before the schools break up for summer holidays. Oh and if you’ve left school and got married at 17 you’re not eligible to vote because you’re too young.
b) You’d better check that your own work holidays are flexible too, because that week is subject to being changed depending on the pre season training schedule (of course the club’s management are traditionally very organised during pre season though.....)
c) the document includes this classic piece of ‘English’ ... “To enter you will need to visit Hullcitytigers.com and register your vote on concessionary pricing dated 19thApril at 19that 10am.” ......What the actual **** does that mean?!
d) if you can’t comply with all the terms, including the requirement to register at 19that 10am, not before 19that 10am, then your entry will be deemed ineligible

Good luck everyone

I emailed the club twice, rang them twice and after finally getting frustrated sent them an email with a letter attached confirming I was cancelling, posted the letter, hand delivered a letter to the ticket office and as I was working with a client on the other side of a property deal to Ehab, slipped it into the paperwork we sent him/his solicitors ... Noone ever came after me for anymore. Admittedly I was pissed off but my client saw the funny side. Just.

They have obviously been reading this thread as the opening line of the terms and conditions is this.

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before entering the competition. By entering you indicate that you accept these terms and conditions and you agree to be bound by them.

You can be fairly sure that will also apply to the membership scheme and concessions if the vote goes in favor.

More thoughts on the holiday prize, is it a holiday with the pre season in Portugal because they now realise they booked too many rooms and the hotel won't let them cancel?

The headline story looks great and for many that's all they will see, but it's only 4 days including travel plus all the other restrictions Dennis pointed out. Anyone being critical will be seen by many as just anti Allam no matter what.
