Not voting is a protest. Everyone who feels they can't vote for this bullshit concessions offer simply should not vote. That's when questions should be asked. Why aren't people voting? Get it out there. Get awareness in. Get it talked about.

This vote is another win win for Ehab. He's taking the piss once more and yet again some are falling for it.

Those who still go should either vote with their feet and stop going. Or disrupt every game as much as possible. Get games abandoned, embarrass the owner.

The supporters groups should publicly support a vote for concessions as it is a step in the right direction, but should also publicly support the continuation of protests until the concessions that are proposed are adequate. eg no limit on children per adult, children can still be children when attending with a concession (grandparent) children are anyone under working age 16 (at least) disabled get in at child price with a free carer ticket. It really is a scum club that doesn't do these things.

Fair enough. I do see where you're coming from. I just see this as Ehab playing eveyone like a fiddle once again. If the concessions vote wins he'll still see it as a victory for himself as the fans still haven't got what they want.

Although they might not subscribe to your thinking, perhaps there is a school of thought that considers neither choice to be worthwhile, as they will be stuck with just another contrived system that they will be deemed to accept by voting for it. It was always going to be an outcome of attending the meetings.

Not voting isn’t a vote for the status quo, but it would be the likely outcome

I am torn, and if anything I’m leaning towards abstaining, but I do get the ‘principle’ argument

I’d have been much happier if the Trust has immediately come out and said that it’s a crock of **** and they recommend everyone abstains and keeps protesting (not that we are anyway unless there’s TV cameras)
I’m not saying they would have been able to digest and respond quick enough so it’s not a criticism...I just wish that it had been what had happened

I can’t get my head round anyone thinking not voting means anything other than not fussed about it.

They’re only allowed to go with an adult so it’s the group price that’s important and in many cases it’s the same, in some it’s more expensive

But you're not voting for 'the principle of concessions'. You're voting for the concessions of Ehab which nobody who would like concessions back actually wants.

It's also not a mandate to the trust saying “we want concessions and we want them improved". It's simply agreeing to Ehabs version of concessions.

There isn't an option saying 'I agree to the concessions as long as we can change them later on'.

Do you really think the next step of getting the concessions changed to what the fans want will happen or work?

Ehab will be laughing his acorn off. "You voted for concessions. You got concessions. Next."

I believe that not voting is not an option that supporters should consider.

The principle is simple, vote for the return of concessions and demonstrate that you support a lower price for Junior and plus 65 supporters.

I personally believe that the price structure is not as important as the principle. I do not want to pay more, but if that is what it takes, so be it.

The vote empowers supporters and having a chance to change the direction of the club should not be missed.
